Thomas Mathew, MD

Dr. Mathew is an attending anesthesiologist at Advanced Perioperative Medicine, P.A.

Previously, Dr. Mathew was the attending anesthesiologist at Christ Hospital (Jersey City, NJ), Greenville Hospital (Jersey City, NJ), St. Mary’s Hospital (Hoboken, NJ), and St. Francis Hospital (Jersey City, NJ). He was also an emergency room physician and house physician at Hermon Hospital and Medical Trust Hospital, respectively, both in India.

He graduated from St. Berchman’s College (Changanacherry, Kerala, India) with an emphasis on chemistry, biology and physics; and continued on to earn his MBBS from the Government Medical College Kottayam (Kerala, India). Dr. Mathew completed an internship in internal medicine at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens (Jamaica, NY) and a residency in anesthesia at New York University Medical Center (New York, NY).

Dr. Mathew is board certified in anesthesia by the American Board of Anesthesiology and licensed in New Jersey and New York.
